Venus For A Day

StoryLine

Leap and the net will appear. That’s what Sydney Wellington’s best friend advised just before she died. Now, a year and a half post-leap, Sydney’s run out of both money and hope. Going to bed with a prayer to “any god or goddess listening” to somehow make this next day different than all the days gone by, Sydney’s prayers are answered by a great host of deities from a wide range of traditions, with the witty and often vicious Venus leading the pack. What begins as a fun little bargain to nab the hot guy living five boats down the dock becomes a race to the death between a has-been Goddess and a real woman in the making. Why Read?

Reading Venus For A Day, you become reconnected to the Great Divine Feminine in Her many facets and forms. Body and beauty issues, as well as grief and the mother-daughter split, can be moved through as you reclaim parts of yourself that have been nearly forgotten. Reader Libby Jones puts it this way… "Wow--just wow! I laughed, cried, got angry, cheered, put it down, then came back knowing that shifts were taking place deep within me. A clarion call…" Dr. Sandra Phocas identified the “shapeshift” Venus brings as… "Powerful! An intense, impacting and mythic journey through the feminine…I felt like Venus began accompanying me day-to-day and influencing my life."
